Cancellation, Rescheduling, Late Arrival, and Deposit Policy

Still Hour Studio reserves dedicated time for every client so that each massage can be provided with attentive, unhurried care. To secure your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit will be credited toward the total cost of your scheduled service and deducted from the remaining balance at the time of your visit.

We understand that schedules may change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide Still Hour Studio with at least 24 hours’ notice. When adequate notice is provided, your deposit may be transferred to a newly scheduled appointment or otherwise handled according to the terms provided at the time of booking.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests received less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are considered late changes. Because the appointment time was reserved specifically for you and may be difficult to fill on short notice, the deposit will remain non-refundable. At the therapist’s discretion, the deposit may be transferred one time and applied toward a rescheduled service. Approval of a transfer is not guaranteed and may depend on the circumstances, appointment history, and availability.

Still Hour Studio understands that unexpected illnesses and emergencies may occur. Requests to refund or transfer a deposit because of illness, emergency, severe weather, or another exceptional circumstance will be reviewed individually and remain at the therapist’s discretion. When you are experiencing a contagious illness, fever, vomiting, unexplained rash, or other symptoms that could affect the safety of the massage, please contact the studio as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling.

An appointment is considered a no-call, no-show when a client does not arrive and does not contact Still Hour Studio before the scheduled appointment. No-call, no-show appointments will result in the deposit being forfeited. The deposit will not be refunded or transferred to another appointment. Still Hour Studio may also require an additional deposit, advance payment, or full prepayment before accepting a future reservation following a missed appointment.

Please arrive on time so that you can receive the full benefit of your scheduled service. If you arrive late, Still Hour Studio will make reasonable efforts to provide the remaining portion of your appointment. However, your session may need to be shortened so that the next client’s appointment can begin as scheduled. The full price of the originally scheduled service will still apply, and additional time cannot be guaranteed.

Arriving 20 minutes or more after your scheduled start time may prevent the massage from being provided safely, effectively, or without disrupting later appointments. In that situation, the appointment will be considered missed and must be rescheduled. The deposit will remain non-refundable. Whether it may be transferred to a new appointment will be determined by the therapist based on the circumstances. If the appointment is not rescheduled, or if a transfer is not approved, the deposit will be forfeited and cannot be applied toward a future service.

Still Hour Studio makes every reasonable effort to begin appointments on time. If the studio or therapist must cancel or significantly delay an appointment, you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule, transfer the deposit, or receive a refund of the deposit.

By scheduling an appointment and submitting the required deposit, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, understand, and agree to Still Hour Studio’s cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, no-show, and deposit terms.
